Chances are if you are curious about the process of therapy, that may be a sign that you are ready to begin. A genuine desire for growth and openness to the process is important. We will provide the tools needed to help you process and cope along the way.

Therapy is most effective when one feels ready to explore their emotions and make tangible changes in their life.

The first step is to reach out to Madeline to schedule a 50-minute intake appointment.

Once a time is set, you will receive intake paperwork online to complete before initial meeting.

In our first session, time will be spent getting to you, allowing you to feel comfortable in therapy, and gaining a sense of what you are struggling with and how therapy can help you meet your goals surrounding this.

We accept all major credit cards. Payment will be charged at the end of each session. A card must be on file prior to beginning services.

We can provide a “Superbill” that documents services you have received. You may then submit this document to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network coverage. We recommend contacting your insurance company about potential coverage prior to beginning therapy.

A specific number of sliding scale spots are available based on financial need. Please inquire with us if you are interested in learning more about this option.

Madeline is an out-of-network provider. We can provide a superbill documenting services conducted, which you can then submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company to determine whether they will cover for out-of-network services.

By working with a clinician privately, you increase the degree of control you have over your treatment. We will be able to determine a course of treatment that works best for you. You will not be limited by a predetermined timeline nor be required to receive a mental health diagnosis for claim payment.

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact Madeline via email or phone. If a cancellation occurs within less than 48 hours notice, a late fee of $75 will automatically be charged.

Yes, we can provide a superbill. This is a document with services conducted at Sunlight Psychotherapy that you can then submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if they cover out-of-network providers.
