Both! Most sessions are conducted virtually through a secure video platform designed for mental healthcare. Many clients prefer the convenience of this option. Limited in-person sessions are also available in Bellevue, Washington.
The first step is submit your contact information on the website. Madeline will reach out via email to discuss what you are looking for in therapy and if this practice might be a good fit for your needs.
A 50-minute intake session would then be scheduled and you will receive intake paperwork online to complete before your initial session.
We accept all major credit cards. Payment will be charged at the end of each session. A card must be on file prior to beginning services.
A “Superbill” can be provided monthly upon request. This documents services you have received. You may then submit this document to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out-of-network coverage. We recommend contacting your insurance company about potential coverage prior to beginning therapy.
A specific number of sliding scale spots are available based on financial need. Please inquire with us if you are interested in learning more about this option.
Madeline is an out-of-network provider. We can provide a superbill documenting services conducted, which you can then submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. Please contact your insurance company to determine whether they will cover for out-of-network services.
By working with a clinician privately, you increase the degree of control you have over your treatment. We will be able to determine a course of treatment that works best for you. You will not be limited by a predetermined timeline nor be required to receive a mental health diagnosis for claim payment.
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact Madeline via email or phone. If a cancellation occurs within less than 48 hours notice, a late fee of $75 will automatically be charged.
Yes, we can provide a superbill. This is a document with services conducted at Sunlight Psychotherapy that you can then submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if they cover out-of-network providers.
